Único Reserva Especial 2024 is an iconic, multi-vintage wine that showcases the essence of Vega Sicilia in its most refined form. This cuvée is composed of carefully selected Único vintages, combining ripe black fruit with aromas of cedar, leather, truffle, tobacco and sweet spices. On the palate, the wine is velvety and deep, with perfectly integrated tannins, an impressive balance and an almost endless finish. Vinification.
Único Reserva Especial is only made in exceptional years and consists of a blend of different Único vintages, each of which has undergone a very long maturation. The grapes are hand-picked from old vines. After fermentation, the wines mature for several years in a combination of large and small oak barrels, followed by a long bottle aging before release. This extremely long maturation ensures the wine's characteristic complexity, silky texture and enormous aging potential.
