Payments: 

You can pay for your order in several ways: via bank transfer, credit card, and our payment partners. Of course, we prefer a direct bank transfer to Summum Wijn's account!

You will always receive an invoice for your order, regardless of whether you are a private or professional customer.

 

Shipments (BE): 

Orders placed by Sunday evening 11 PM will be shipped the following Wednesday.

Our deliveries are handled by Vinologix, a company specialized in the transport of wines and beers across Europe. For international deliveries, I will gladly provide a custom quote. 

Home delivery (in Belgium) costs 15 euros (VAT included) and is available for as little as 1 bottle. If you order more than 500 euros worth of wine, the shipping costs are waived.

DPD delivers all packages CO2-neutrally, which is good for the environment!

Your bottles are packed in a premium cardboard box that protects them perfectly. 

A shipment is insured up to 520 euros via DPD.

We are happy to prepare your order for pickup in Belgium. 

To keep the process simple and compliant, transport is arranged directly by the customer through a carrier of their choice. We will make this as easy as possible by preparing the wines carefully and providing all practical pickup details, including parcel size, weight, address, and available collection times.

In short:

  • we prepare the order for collection in Belgium
  • you arrange the transport directly with your preferred carrier
  • This works especially well for larger orders and allows everything to be handled clearly and efficiently.

    Business customers: 

    Summum takes care of the shipment & necessary documentation. Wines will be sold excluding VAT, declaration & excess tax will be the responsibility of the customer. 

     

    Return Policy: 

    Our wine is stored and shipped in perfect conditions, minimizing the chance of bad wine or accidents. However, it can sometimes happen that something breaks during transport or an order is not delivered correctly.

    General Terms and Conditions: 

    Acceptance of our General Terms and Conditions of Sale
    By confirming an order through our webshop, the buyer automatically accepts these complete general terms and conditions of sale. This agreement is governed by Belgian law. Only the courts of Antwerp have jurisdiction.

    Placing an Order
    The information provided by the buyer when placing an order is binding: in case of errors in the recipient's address details, the seller cannot be held liable for the inability to deliver the ordered products. Orders only become final once they have been paid for by the buyer. All our offers are valid while stocks last and cannot give rise to a sales obligation.

    Delivery and Receipt
    Wines are delivered in cardboard boxes of 6 or 12 bottles, deliverable at once to the same address in Belgium or collected from Summum Wijn. Free delivery for orders from €300 (wine), for smaller orders we charge €15 per address. Summum Wijn undertakes to make every effort to deliver the ordered products as quickly as possible.

    Delivery is made within the specified period by direct handover of the product to the specified recipient, or, in the absence thereof, by a notification of availability.

    Any delays do not entitle the buyer to cancel their purchase, refuse the goods, or demand compensation. Cases of force majeure that exempt the seller from their delivery obligation include: war, riots, fire, strike, accidents, and impossibility of supply.

    Goods always travel at the risk and responsibility of the recipient. Always check your package upon arrival. You have a period of 24 hours to make any reservations in case of missing goods or damage.

    Prices
    Prices are expressed in Euros. The price indicated on the product specifications does not include transport costs. The price indicated in the order confirmation is the final price.

    Payment
    Payment for products is always net and in cash, or via our partner PayPal, and must be made in advance. Summum Wijn will prepare an invoice and send it to the customer's email address. The wines remain the property of Summum Wijn until full payment of the invoices. Invoices are due 7 days after the invoice date. In case of overdue payment, 10% of the total invoice amount will be charged. 

    Disputes
    Complaints or disputes are always carefully investigated. Good faith is always assumed for anyone who takes the trouble to explain their situation.
    In case of disputes, the customer is requested to preferably contact the company for an amicable settlement. Otherwise, only the Commercial Court of Antwerp has jurisdiction, regardless of the accepted place of delivery and method of payment.
