It always takes 10 years before this wine is released, during which it matures in oak barrels and in the bottle. In the first stage, French and American oak is used, after which the wine goes into large wooden barrels of up to 22,000 litres.

Dark purple-red colour. The flagship of this domain. Zest of orange, ripe dark fruit with blackberries and plums. Smoky, oak and vanilla. Liquorice, pine resin, tobacco, leather and chocolate. Very complex wine in the beginning of its life. Young, but round tannins, endless aftertaste. Best stored or long in the carafe (4+ hours).
