This version of Usseglio is an exclusive bottle of wine, in all aspects. Firstly because only a few winemakers dare to use all the grape varieties in their wine*, secondly because only 1000 bottles of this wine were produced.
Medium ruby red color with purple hues. Aromas of cherries, wild strawberries, a hint of tropical fruits, herbs such as lavender, thyme and orange blossom. No vanilla or wood here, the wine has matured in amphorae for a year. Full body, very long finish. Very different style from CNDP, plays more on the "fresh" tones than the heavier work.
