This wine comes from a small estate in the Languedoc with no more than 5 hectares of vineyard. It was founded by Jean-Emmanuel Parcé and his sister Jeanne in memory of their missing brother, Mathieu. They work on a very small scale and are currently in the process of converting to organic (normal for a young estate). They produce two red wines and one white.
Clear, intense ruby red color. In the nose you recognize ripe red and black fruit, with raspberry, cherry and cassis. In addition, a hint of oak, this wine has matured in barrels for 9 months. You get a wine with medium body, polished tannins and balanced acids. Nice complexity for this price range!
