The Meursault 1er Cru “Charmes” 2023 is a rich yet refined wine with aromas of ripe pear, citrus, almond and subtle toast. On the palate, the texture is round and silky, supported by fresh acidity and a long, balanced finish where fruit and minerality beautifully intertwine.

Vinification.
After manual harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in oak barrels with a carefully dosed proportion of new wood. The wine matures in barrels for approximately 12 to 15 months and then receives additional rest to refine its structure and aromatic complexity, followed by bottle aging.

The domain.
Charmes is known for its more accessible, richer style within Meursault, and Darviot-Perrin manages to translate this terroir with great precision. Through sustainable vineyard care, minimal intervention and refined oak aging, a Meursault 1er Cru is created that effortlessly combines power and elegance.
