Recently, the basic cuvée of Riffault has been called "Mosaïque Calcaire", which refers to the soil in which the vines are planted. The wine undergoes a short maturation in oak barrels, which gives a little more depth and body to this Sancerre.

Citrus, green apple, gooseberry and passion fruit - a little bit of exotic fruit makes this wine interesting and rich. Elegant, subtle and tight, these are the keywords that describe most of Riffault's wines. Medium long finish.
