Meursault “Les Clous” 2022 displays a cool and precise style of Meursault, with aromas of lemon, green apple, white flowers and a distinct chalky minerality. On the palate, the wine is crisp and vibrant, with a slender structure, fresh acidity and a long, clean finish in which tension and finesse are central.
Vinification.
After manual harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels with a limited percentage of new wood. The wine ages for approximately 12 months in barrel, followed by several months of rest to refine balance and precision, then bottle aging.
The domain.
Bouchard Père & Fils manages its Meursault vineyards with great attention to terroir expression and natural balance. Sustainable viticulture, controlled yields and careful soil management ensure that the character of plots such as Les Clous is expressed clearly and purely.
