Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2022 is a monumental white Burgundy with aromas of citrus zest, white peach, hazelnut and subtle smoky and flint notes. On the palate, the wine combines power and precision, with an impressive structure, vibrant acidity and a long, mineral finish that underscores its grand cru status.
Vinification.
The grapes are hand-harvested on the higher, limestone-rich slopes of Corton. After gentle pressing, the must ferments in oak barrels. The wine ages in barrels for approximately 12 to 14 months, with carefully dosed new wood, followed by further aging to promote complexity and integration.
The domain.
Bouchard Père & Fils is one of the largest vineyard owners on the Corton hill. The domain combines centuries of knowledge with modern, environmentally conscious practices, including sustainable soil management, to preserve these exceptional terroirs for future generations. Since 2009, they have been in organic conversion.
