This Langhe Nebbiolo combines freshness with surprising depth. The nose displays cherries, roses, violets and subtle spices. The palate is vibrant and elegant, with fine tannins and minerality on the finish.

Vinification.
After manual harvesting, the wine ferments spontaneously and undergoes a longer maceration than is usual for Langhe wines. It then matures for 12–14 months in barriques and tonneaux, predominantly used wood, after which it is bottled unfiltered to preserve maximum purity.

The domain.
The Langhe Nebbiolo is an excellent introduction to the Sottimano style: pure, delicate, terroir-driven, and with a focus on natural fermentation, minimal intervention, and elegance over power.
